Our handling of personal data is in accordance with the statutory provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

1. Who is the publisher of the aLIVE Pass app?

This app is published by aLIVE-Service GmbH for the district of Eberberg. ALIVE-Service GmbH is also responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in accordance with the data protection regulations.

 

2. What is the digital COVID certificate?

The digital COVID certificate is proof that a person has received a vaccination against COVID-19 (vaccination certificate), has tested negative for COVID-19 (test certificate) or has recovered from COVID-19 disease (recovery certificate). The digital COVID certificates of the aLIVE Pass are valid from April 1st, 2021 throughout Germany as a certificate of COVID-19 vaccinations and recovery from a COVID-19 infection.

Upon request, you will receive a certificate from a competent institution (vaccination centers or doctors) after a vaccination or after having suffered a COVID-19 illness. A certificate will be used in electronic form on your smartphone. Each certificate contains a QR code with an electronic signature to protect against counterfeiting.

Please note that the QR codes of the aLIVE Pass certificates are not compatible with the certificates of the RKI.

Only show the certificates and QR codes if you want to provide evidence of this. Do not make the QR codes available to anyone if you do not want the data to be read out.

 

3. Is the use of the app voluntary?

Yes, using the aLIVE Pass app is voluntary. Each certificate is linked to the ID number given at the time of vaccination. You can decide at any time whether you want to create an account and save the certificate in the app. You can also delete the certificate and any of your data yourself from the app at any time.

 

4. Which personal data are processed?

Personal data is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"); A natural person is regarded as identifiable who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by means of assignment to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more special features that express the physical , physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of this natural person (Art. 4 (1) GDPR). This information includes name, contact details such as postal address, email address, telephone number and the like. as well as further information about natural persons.

In general, you can visit our website without providing any personal data.

 

5. Log data

We collect, process and use personal data as far as this is necessary to enable you to use the website. The provider (or his web space provider) collects data for each access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data include:

Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to retrospectively check the log data if, based on specific indications, there is a legitimate suspicion of illegal use.

These data do not belong to the personal data, but are anonymized. They are evaluated for statistical purposes only. A transfer to third parties, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, does not take place.

 

6. Google Analytics

This offer uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on the user's computer and that enable an analysis of the use of the website by them. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Cookies are small files that make it possible to save specific, device-related information on the user's access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). If a contractual relationship is to be established, structured or changed between you and us, or if you send us an inquiry or if you use our services, we collect, store and use your personal data insofar as this is necessary for these purposes.

All personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the stated purpose (processing your request or processing a contract) or for compliance with statutory retention periods.

With regard to our services through the aLIVE Pass, we will only use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • The attestation of your digital COVID-19 vaccination status certificate as issued by your consulting doctor or vaccination center.
  • For efficient review of your COVID-19 vaccination status certificate by people you show it to.

 

10. Commercial data usage

The use of the contact details in the imprint for commercial advertising is expressly not desired, unless the provider has given his prior written consent or a business relationship already exists. The provider and all persons named on this website hereby object to any commercial use and disclosure of their data.

 

11. External links

Our offer contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. We assume no liability for the content or compliance with data protection regulations by the providers of the linked pages. The respective provider or operator of these pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages.

 

12. Data security

The provider expressly points out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) has security gaps and cannot be completely protected against access by third parties. According to Art 15 GDPR, users have the right to request information free of charge about the personal data that has been stored about them. Furthermore, users have the right to correct incorrect data, and to block and delete their personal data, as long as there is no statutory retention requirement.
